The aims of the English Panel of Mui Wo School are:
- to provide a happy environment for local students to learn English;
- to develop their interest in learning and using English in everyday life;
- to expose them to a wide range of text types to build their literacy and self-learning skills.

In our school, we have students with wide range of learning abilities. Therefore, we tailor teaching materials to fit their needs. Our school provide a variety of English activities to nourish their interests.
We conduct two reading programmes, for younger students (Key Stage 1) and older ones, (Key Stage 2) with the guidance of the Native English-speaking Teacher Section from the Education Bureau to enrich their reading and writing skills.
